After being picked up from your hotel, you will be taken to Puerto Colón, where you will board a catamaran to explore the coast of Los Gigantes and the Barranco de Masca. Relax and enjoy a peaceful boat ride as we sail to an area where whales and dolphins live in the wild.

The 4.5-hour Whale and Dolphin watching tour in Masca by Freebird Catamaran departs every day of the week from Puerto Colón, in Costa Adeje (Tenerife). Our catamarans will sail in search of whales and dolphins to Los Gigantes and Masca.

Our guides will inform you about the characteristics of the cetacean species that we encounter during the excursion. You will learn about their customs, food, migrations, etc.

Once we have been able to see cetacean species in freedom such as pilot whales, bottlenose dolphins, spotted dolphins, among others, you can relax sunbathing and enjoy a swim in the sea on the coasts of the strong> Masca ravine. Finally we will return to Puerto Colón.

This tour includes pickup from the main hotels in the southern areas of Tenerife: Los Gigantes, Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Golf del Sur.

If your hotel is in the north of Tenerife, we have a bird watching boat excursion 4.5-hour cetacean tours to Los Gigantes with pick-up in the north of Tenerife, and includes the towns of Puerto de la Cruz and the Hotel La Quinta in Saint Ursula.

Pickup times vary depending on your location, but will generally be between 11:25 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. for the south.
